Foreign retail website Softridge may have just leaked The Last of Us 2’s release date and collector’s editions. The page found here displays a release date of February 28th with a collector’s edition that equates to around $280 in the US. Of course keep in mind that game prices vary greatly by region so it’s likely it could be in the $150-$250 range in the US.
Our Take
We’re extremely excited for The Last of Us 2 and our editors guesses have been late February and/or early March so this would be right in line. We also expect an expensive collector’s edition so this looks very plausible. No matter what we’ll know after State of Play on Tuesday!
