We finally got to feast our eyes on some Yakuza 7 details. It introduces a new protagonist by the name of Ichiban Kasuga. The trailer shows a bit of detail about him and how the new mainline story will flow. Barely any gameplay was shown but the turn based action has been confirmed. This has not been called a reboot of the story but more of a re imagining with new characters in the Yakuza world.
Our take
More gameplay needs to be shown in order to make judgments on how this will affect Yakuza fans with it’s new characters and gameplay style, but more Yakuza should make any fan exicted
