THQ Nordic hints Dead Island 2, Timesplitters and Saints Row sequels

This morning an investment report from THQ Nordic was shared that appears to share the future of a number of franchises that are in the works under the big publisher. It’s important to remember that THQ has been acquiring development studios in mass as well as the rights and intellectual properties to beloved franchises.

Dead Island 2 was announced back in 2014 but development has gone silent since. Dambuster Studios, which has worked on the most recent Homefront title will be taking over development. Steve Ellis was also mentioned in the report in taking over the future of Timesplitters. A new Saints Row sequel was announced to be in full development by Volition. Lastly, Fishlabs is currently working on a new unannounced IP.
