As development companies do after a release, major resources have shifted from development of Anthem to the next Dragon Age. This led to speculation that Bioware had given up on Anthem which caused some consternation among the playerbase. But according to Bioware, players should rest assured as they are still 100% committed to improving Anthem and making it the game everyone hoped it could be.
Chad Robertson, Head of Live Services for Bioware, made the comment on Twitter yesterday stating that he and Ben Irving, along with their teams in Edmonton and Austin, are continuing work on the title.
Along with @BenIrvo and I, we've got a big team between Austin and Edmonton focused and motivated for improving the game. We appreciate your support and for being on this journey with us.

Our Take
We have talked endlessly about Anthem here so all we can really say at this point is that this is good news and we anxiously await their future plans for Anthem. We certainly believe the world deserves a better fate than what’s occurred to date.
