In some of the best news we’ve read today, Psyonix has confirmed that the beta for PS4 crossplay is now live thus allowing players on all platforms to play with one another! This includes all game types but does not include cross-parties just yet (they are coming in an update soon).
Today’s announcement is an important one for us here at Psyonix, because we know how much our community has wanted FULL cross-platform support for quite some time. It’s because of YOU, our fans, and our generous partners on all systems and services that have made this possible in the first place. We’ve said it before and we’ll continue saying it : we love this. There’s no reason in today’s age that we shouldn’t be able to play with players on other platforms. We can’t wait for these walls to finally come down!
