Earlier this week, we learned that 20th Century Fox had trademarked “Alien Blackout” for video game use. While we didn’t have any details, we figured this is something that would debut at The Game Awards as we discussed in Bitcast 36.
Well it seems we were on the mark as Geoff Keighley tweeted an image last night that looks to be from the Weyland Corporation. In case you are not familiar, the Weyland Corporation is the primary corporate company featured in the Alien Universe.

Our Take
As we discussed, we’re really excited to learn more about this. Alien Isolation was a superb title and we adore the Alien universe so we simply hope this is a quality game that does it justice.
