MLB The Show has become the go-to baseball game for fans of the MLB. Sony announced today that 2019’s iteration will release on March 26th. Additionally, Bryce Harper was announced as the cover athlete.
The game will come in three variations which are very typical of what we see out of Electronic Arts and their annual sports franchises.
- The standard edition
- The digital deluxe edition
- The Gone Yard edition (Gamestop exclusive)
- The MVP edition

Our Take
MLB games aren’t the big hitters on the market which is why The Show is really the only major player left. That said, Sony does an excellent job with the title and we know baseball fans anxiously await each years installment. We’ll see if that trend continues with The Show 19.
