Our Take
While we love the throwback and the mere fact that we are getting a PlayStation Classic, we’re rather disappointed here. Some of these titles are playable elsewhere in better form and some will be rather terrible to go back to. Factoring in that the launch PlayStation controllers are used instead of the Dual Shock and that the bundle retails for $100 are also negatives in our opinion. That said, the PlayStation is nearing 25 years old and that means the current generation likely never got to experience it. With that in mind, we at least appreciate the throwback.
