Our Take
Just Cause has always been an over-the-top, action-filled, open world, but it struggled in the performance arena heavily at times. This was especially true of Just Cause 3 on the original Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Avalanche is promising that Just Cause 4 will be different thanks to the Apex Engine and from what we’ve seen so far, including behind the scenes at E3, they look to be right. We certainly hope they deliver!
