As part of the Gold Edition of Far Cry 5, players were due early access and a free copy of Far Cry 3 Classic Edition. That time has arrived! Gold Edition owners of Far Cry 5 can now download the improved version of the classic title on Xbox Live or PSN.
While it is not considered a fully “remastered” title, it does apparently run with improvements particularly on the Xbox One X. Once we know the specific details, we will let you know!
Our Take
This was a nice bonus for Ubisoft to add for fans of the series as Far Cry 3 is one of the most beloved in the franchise. We haven’t had a chance to play it just yet but we’ll be checking it out soon!
