Update: Sega has removed the demo from the PSN Store as some players were able to access the full game. They are working on the issue now and we will update you as to when it is available again.
The demo for Yakuza 6, the first new Yakuza built on an engine for this generation of consoles, releases today for the PlayStation 4. It weighs in at a whopping 36.5gb but on the plus side, Sega has said that your progress in the demo will carry over to the full game. Yakuza 6 releases on April 17th.
Our Take
Yakuza is a very unique series offering a tremendously varied set of gameplay. It’s nice to see Yakuza 6 finally come to the West as localization apparently took an extended period of time. Are you looking forward to Yakuza 6? Let us know!
