Ubisoft has detailed the new content coming to Assassin’s Creed Origins in January. First up, the game will receive a title update that includes the following:

  • A new quest to celebrate the arrival of the first expansion, The Hidden Ones
  • Update to the Heka chests item pool, which adds the items from the Nightmare and First Civilization packs, as well as the Gladiator and Wacky packs to the pool

Next up the game’s first expansion, The Hidden Ones, will have Bayek and the Assassins clashing with the Romans, who occupy an all-new region in the game. It will also offer an increase to the level cap to level 45.

Our Take

Origins was one of our favorite games of 2017 and has re-invigorated the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Post-launch support has been excellent as well and with January’s additions and the upcoming Exploration mode, it doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon.
