Paris Games Week : Sony Media Showcase Coverage

parisgamesweek

We’re expecting some big announcements from Sony during Paris Games Week as they’ve alluded to a minimum of seven new game announcements along with new footage of known titles. We’re personally hoping for some Last of Us 2, God of War, and Spiderman along with unveiling of whatever Sucker Punch has been working on for a few years now (and more). We’ll be covering the conference throughout the day so stay tuned!

You must move beyond your samurai traditions to forge a new way of fighting–the way of the Ghost–as you wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Japan.

New Trailers for Known Titles

Shadow of Colossus Remastered : As we stressed during our E3 2017 unveil, Shadow of the Colossus on PS4 is not a port or remaster. The beloved all-time classic has been completely rebuilt by the highly regarded team at Bluepoint Games. They are no stranger when it comes to reintroducing gems of PlayStation’s past for new generations of gamers to experience; their reputation for faithful, beautiful restorations precedes them.

Released date : February 6th

Last of Us II : At its core, The Last of Us Part II is still very much about Ellie and Joel, but for this reveal, we wanted to showcase several new characters that are integral to their next journey. We’re sure you have many questions after watching this scene. We’re also pretty sure that we’re going to see all sorts of theories about whom these characters are, where and when this scene takes place, and how all of this fits into Ellie and Joel’s next story. For now we’re keeping mum, but we’re excited to see what y’all make of this piece of the puzzle.

Release date : TBD

Spider-Man : The trailer includes your first glimpses at the man behind the mask – Peter Parker. We also introduce you to Peter’s very close friend Mary Jane Watson, his beloved Aunt May, his longtime nemesis Wilson Fisk (AKA Kingpin), and much more.

Release date : TBD

Detroit Become Human

God of War : Witness a smidgeon, a sliver, of the unflinching, intense, brutal, and often empowering new combat in God of War. The impact of every attack you connect feels like it has a titanic ton of energized force behind it, and the strategic decisions you’ll be forced to make mid-combat are your keys to survival.
