This Fall sees a tremendous amount of racing action across all platforms. But besides Forza 7, Project Cars 2, and GT Sport, we can’t forget about Need for Speed Payback which releases on November 10th. The description of the story mode is as follows:
Set in the underworld of Fortune Valley, you and your crew are reunited by a search for vengeance against The House. Play a variety of challenges and events as Tyler, Mac, and Jess. Each driver must take on races, missions, and challenges to earn the respect of the Valley’s underground and compete in the ultimate race to finally take down The House.
Our Take
While Forza 7, GT Sport, and Project Cars 2 offer different takes on similar thrills, Need for Speed Payback looks to offer a more arcade experience where the player is invested in the world. It’s been quite a while since a NFS title really blew us away, hopefully Payback can be the one.
