The Escapists 2 will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 22nd for $19.99. The follow up to the hit first game adds local and online co-op, new items, more ways to escape, a new combat system, and 10 different prisons at launch.
A version for the Nintendo Switch is also coming but no date has been given just yet.
Our Take
The Escapists was a big hit and from what we’ve seen, The Escapists 2 looks to expand on the first in nearly every way. It’s also great to hear that the game will be arriving on the Switch at some point as that system continues to pick up more third party support!
