Summer Games Done Quick 2017 Raises Nearly $2 Million for Charity

Today we have yet another feel good story coming out of the gaming community.  Games Done Quick’s summer event has finished and with it, they’ve raised $1.76 million for Doctors Without Borders.  There’s a lot to understand here so instead of us trying to explain it, please visit the official site here for the details:  Games Done Quick

Our Take

As we said regarding GuardianCon, we love this.  When the gaming community comes together, they really come through and these events are a good reminder of just how many good people are in the community.  We’ll be sure to cover these events more closely going forward.
