Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft’s CEO, has commented on what may be next for the Splinter Cell franchise.
“What we can say is we’re receiving a lot of sketches and proposals around the brand and we’re going to pick one up. I think you will be able to see something, but you will have to wait for that.”

Our Take
Splinter Cell is a beloved franchise so it’s no surprise at all to hear Ubisoft talking about it. As part of our E3 predictions Bitcast, we even guessed we might see it at this year’s E3 though that didn’t pan out. Regardless, it’s good to hear they are discussing it and we hope we see it sooner rather than later.
