The Culling, a new battle royale style game, will be arriving on the Xbox Preview program on June 2nd. The game has been in development for over 2 years now by a small team named Xaviant. The Culling features 25 minute game sessions inspired by movies like The Running Man, The Hunger Games, and Battle Royale and will offer crafting, duo mode, and a host of other features.

Our Take
Battle Royale style games seem to be taking off in popularity and in our opinion, we feel they are only going to continue to grow. It’s about time we start to see these games on consoles so with the Culling arriving in a few weeks and Battlegrounds confirmed to be coming to Xbox later this year, we seem to be turning that corner.
