In a rather interesting piece of news today, Alan Wake, Remedy Entertainment’s hit from last generation, is set to be removed from digital marketplaces forever on Monday (May 15th). According to Remedy, some of the licenses for the music in the title are expiring and they are not renewing them. As such, Steam is having a 90% off sale this weekend and we believe Xbox will be following suit with a sale of their own. And for those wondering, you can play Alan Wake on the Xbox One as it is backwards compatible. Get it while you still can!

Our Take
Quite frankly, we loved Alan Wake. It’s a shame to see it going off the market so if you’ve never tried the game, now is the time! Meanwhile, we’ll continue to hope that Remedy sees the light one day and finally makes Alan Wake 2.
