One of the nicest surprises over the past few weeks has been the intriguing remaster of Wonder Boy : The Dragon’s Trap. Originally released in 1989, developer Lizardcube has brought the game into 2017 while retaining the ability to play the game with the classic graphics. Even more surprising is the fact that you can import your 28 year old saves!
Our Take
The dedication to preserving the nostalgia associated with Wonder Boy 3 is fabulous and Lizardcube deserves recognition in our opinion. Adding the capability to import your classic saves is even more amazing. Lastly, it’s nice to see this release on the Switch alongside the X1 and PS4 versions!
