The Coalition has detailed some of the future improvements coming to Gears of War 4 ; this time focusing specifically on ranked play.
The improvements detailed today include the following:
- Improved team skill balancing due to new matchmaking algorithms.
- Season play where a rank is earned over a period of time and then reset.
- Unique weapon skins depending on your season performance and tier ranking.
- A new stat tracking system on GearsofWar.com.

Gears of War 4 has been popular since launch and The Coalition continues to tune the game for the better. With the new ranked updates, the Gnasher fixes, and the new weapon tuning coming in the near future as well, it’s a great time to be a Gears fan.
