It’s official, Yooka Laylee will be releasing on April 11th for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Steam at $39.99. The Wii U version sadly has been cancelled but Playtonic is looking into ways to bring the game to the Switch.
To celebrate the news, Playtonic also released a new trailer today showing the “Capital Cashino”.
Our Take
As one of my most anticipated games of 2017 and one of the games I had no hesitation in backing on Kickstarter, I am greatly anticipating YK’s release. Banjo Kazooie is one of my favorite games of all-time and if Playtonic can capture even a portion of that magic on new platforms, we are all in for a treat. It’s not long now!
