Microsoft announced today that NPD Group data confirmed the Xbox One was the best selling console in the US in October ; marking the 4th month in a row.

They also confirmed that the Xbox One was the best selling in the UK and Australia, the latter since the debut of the Xbox One S.
Our Take
As we’ve commented on before, Microsoft has turned a corner with the Xbox One. As a console with a rocky start, it is becoming the go-to console for many consumers. We have to wonder just how big of an affect the 4K Blu-Ray player is having on sales as well given the PS4 shunning support for it.
