Brian Goodman, marketing manager for NetherRealm Studios, recently gave some details on the upcoming Injustice 2.
According to Goodman, Injustice 2 will contain a traditional story mode but additional single player modes as well to round out the offerings for those that enjoy playing solo. Additionally, he confirmed the game will contain a full suite of competitive online modes and possibly even some online co-op modes as well. Lastly, he also said that fans can expect some more surprises in the character roster in the coming months.
Injustice 2 is set to release in March 2017 for the PS4 and X1. Hopefully we see a demo or beta prior to release as well.
Our Take
Injustice was a surprising hit with fans and Injustice 2 has looked spectacular when we’ve seen it. We’d really like to learn more about the customization elements in the near future as well so hopefully we see it sooner than later.
