This morning, Playground Games and Xbox  announced that Forza Horizon 3 had gone gold in preparation for its September 27th launch.  As an added bonus, they confirmed something that had only previously been rumored ; the Halo Warthog will be playable in-game.   You can find all the information below including the Warthog intro video below!

Our Take

Forza Horizon 2 was an amazing game and we are greatly anticipating Horizon 3.  With the over 350 vehicles at launch and a new setting in Australia, it should be another amazing experience.  Fans of Halo are of course in for a bonus treat with the Warthog being playable. It’s also worth noting that this is the first game to support Microsoft’s new “Play Anywhere” approach as the game will be available on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
