We’ve been talking about Ashen for a long time now. Originally part of the sizzle reel during Microsoft’s 2015 E3 presentation, Ashen uses a formula similar to the Souls games in a mysterious world where co-op play is encouraged.
Up until now, we only knew that Ashen was releasing in 2018 but we had no confirmed date. With The Game Awards rapidly approaching, it seems the cat is out of the bag. On the French Xbox Store, the full game page has been updated and is showing a December 7th release date which would be this Friday! And keep in mind, it’s being added to Game Pass at release.

Our Take
We really enjoyed our time with Ashen at E3 and with speaking with a member of the dev team. We’ve been looking forward to getting our hands on the finished product and we don’t have long to wait now!
