DICE is beginning to tease Battlefield V prior to its full unveiling later this week. And it seems the rumors about the “V” meaning “Victory” were likely true as we are headed back to World War 2 for yet another battle.

Our Take
While we’re not overly thrilled with the WW2 setting, especially after re-visiting the time period in Call of Duty last year, we recognize that Battlefield is a much different game from COD and that technology has changed greatly over the past few years. As we’ve said before, we hope that DICE has some surprises in store for us. Of course the big question is whether or not it will contain a Battle Royale mode. Given the setting, it could be highly interesting.
