The Sims 4 Coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in November

The Sims 4

A genre not typically represented well on console are simulations. Well those hoping for a port of The Sims will only have to wait a little while longer. The Sims 4 will be releasing on the Xbox One on November 17th. EDIT:  The announcement for some reason didn’t state that Sims 4 was also coming to PS4 on the same day.  It has been confirmed.

There is a deluxe version that will offer 3 day early access (and thus launches on the 14th) as well. Here are the details which seem to be pretty standard:

Our Take

This is surprising but welcome news and we hope more simulations games make their way to consoles in the future.  We’ll see how many players pick this up on Xbox One as that will likely play a role in determining if more of these titles come down the road.  We’ll let you know as we learn more!
