Gamescom is on-going and there have already been some fantastic announcements for fans of every genre. Below is a quick rundown of all the largest announcements so far. Enjoy!
One of the favorite announcements so far has been a remastered edition of The Witcher 3. In addition to the first teaser for Songs of the Past, the upcoming third expansion for the game, CDPR surprised fans by announcing a full remaster. It will launch on September 29th for free on all platforms and include both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
4A Games joined the audience to discuss some of the challenges of building Metro 2039 in an active warzone in the Ukraine. It was a touching moment, followed by their announcement of a collector’s edition featuring a 1:1 scale replica, wearable helmet. Of course, they also gave us the latest look at the game which looks mighty impressive.
Wizards of the Coast and Invoke announced Warlock : Dungeons & Dragons for next year. The first gameplay reveal below!
After a couple of successful beta weekends to introduce players to the new multiplayer suite, the developers at The Coalition provided a deeper look at what players can expect from the Gears of War E-Day campaign.
The Xbox team also brought an extended look at Fable. In this 18-minute long gameplay presentation, the team at Playground Games walks through part of a campaign mission while demonstrating narrative, setting, and combat.
