After less than six weeks on the marketplace, the announcement of Highguard’s shutdown has come. As part of a statement earlier today, Wildlight Entertainment announced the final update for the game would go live today but that the game servers would be shut down in just nine days on March 12th. This is a sad to end to Highguard’s story and one that will likely be discussed for some time to come. While we weren’t enthralled with the game, it had potential and it’s a shame it will never get to fully realize it.
