Today the team at FROMSOFTWARE shared the latest look at Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon. Releasing on August 25th, Fires of Rubicon looks like a tremendous step-forward in the mech genre.
Today’s video runs for about 14 minutes and demonstrates mech modification, combat, open-world exploration, mission assignments, and more. Here are a few details:
- Environments are larger than anything seen in Armored Core before with a focus on verticality.
- Customization is extensive and you’ll have the ability to modify your mech mid-mission.
- Enemies can adjust mid-combat and become more aggressive.
- A full playthrough is expected to be 50+ hours.
