The beta of Amazon Games’ MMO New World seemed to garner a very popular reception from those who participated in it. But with a wealth of feedback from fans, the team is taking a little extra time to polish the title up for full release.

According to Amazon, over one million players logged into the beta and played for over twenty-five million hours. The team offered the below message to fans, thanking them for the support and explaining the delay. The full release is now scheduled for September 28th.
