E3 2021 : Nintendo Direct Full Recap and Summary

The Nintendo Direct just wrapped up and as expected, it was unique from other conferences in content and tone. If you missed it, don’t sweat it as we’ve summarized it for you below!


Of course the highlight came at the end with an update on The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild 2. The sequel is now coming sometime in 2022.

Shin Megami Tensei V is coming West. It will release on November 12th.

A new 2D Metroid game titled “Dread” launches on October 8th.

A new WarioWare game is coming September 10th. It’s titled “Get It Together!”

A new trailer was shown for Monster Hunter Stories 2 which launches on June 25th.

A new Mario Party collection is on the way in Mario Party Superstars. It includes 5 classic boards from the N64 titles and online play. It launches on October 29th.

An updated Advance Wars collection is coming on December 3rd.

An updated Super Monkey Ball collection is coming on October 5th.

A collection of Danganronpa is coming to the Switch in late 2021.

A remastered version of Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water is coming to the Switch (and other platforms) later this year.

The Life is Strange games come to the Switch on September 10th.
