Resident Evil Showcase Brings Village Updates, Resident Evil 4 VR, and More!

The Resident Evil Showcase just wrapped up and it brought updates and a few surprises.

What may be disappointing news to fans, the anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake is apparently not coming (at least not any time soon). Instead, Capcom is working on a VR version of Resident Evil 4 for Oculus. More details will be shared next week, on April 21st, on Twitch.

Of course Resident Evil Village’s release is impending and fans got a new trailer showing some of the horror headed their way on May 7th. Two limited time demos are also available for PlayStation players (times and dates below).

Resident Evil Village will also have an additional game mode called Mercenaries that includes a shop, weapon upgrades, and abilities.

Resident Evil Infinite Darkness is the new animated series coming to Netflix in June. The show will take place after the events of Resident Evil 4 with the preview showing the White House.
