Yet another Wii U release is making it’s way to Switch. Pikmin 3, originally released in 2013, arrives on the Switch on October 30th and includes a few new wrinkles as a “Deluxe” version.
- New difficulty modes
- New side-story missions featuring Olimar and Louie
- All the DLC from the original Pikmin 3 release
Our Take
While we have no issue with Pikmin coming to the Switch, and applaud Nintendo finally bringing the IP forward, we do have to wonder why we’re still getting Wii U ports over 3 years into the Switch’s life cycle. We certainly would have preferred a new Pikmin title.
