For years now, many fans have been wanting to see 343 Industries create a Halo title in another genre that explores a different part of the vast universe. With the success of Gears Tactics, it only solidifies the point that other games in these beloved IPs can be well received.
According to a job listing for on the Microsoft Careers page for 343 Industries, the team is looking for a Senior Producer to “work with our Core Services team to help develop a new project in the Halo universe”.
As the listing calls it a “project” there’s no confirmation this is a new game just yet. But it certainly has our imagination running.
Our Take
We’ve heard from leaders at 343 Industries before that they are working on expanding their offering for Halo fans. With Halo Infinite launching this holiday and the Halo Showtime show launching next year, it seems like they are certainly moving to deliver. As big Halo fans, we couldn’t be more excited.
