Platinum Games kicked off a Kickstarter campaign earlier today to support a remaster of their classic, The Wonderful 101. The campaign initially asked for a mere $50,000 and as of this writing just several hours after launch, has already raised $620,000 from over 9,000 backers.
With the remastered title coming to the Switch and Steam, many were wondering if the stretch goals would include the PS4 and Xbox One. Sadly for Xbox One fans, it seems they are being excluded from the release. As you can see from the picture below, the stretch goal for a PS4 version has been passed, but there are no current plans to release the title on the Xbox One.
Our Take
This is disappointing as it would have been great to see a game like Wonderful 101 on all platforms. With the success Platinum has seen already today on their Kickstarter campaign, hopefully they reconsider!
