Parasite Eve, one of our favorite games on the PlayStation 1, has just been trademarked again by Square-Enix in Europe. Parasite Eve was released in 1998, the sequel followed in 1999, and a third title in the series was released in 2010 for the PSP. However, we haven’t heard about the series at all since then.
Our Take
Funny enough, we’ve been talking about Parasite Eve a lot on our recent Bitcasts as it was one of the more obscure titles we were hoping to see on the PS1 Classic. That said, a full remake or new entry in the series would absolutely be more welcome. We’ll update you as we learn more!
