As rumored months ago, it’s now official : Diablo 3 is coming to the Switch! It will not only arrive in the form of the Eternal Collection which includes all post-launch content including the Necromancer, but it’s been confirmed that it will run at 60fps as well! Additionally, it will include:
- Gandorf transmogrification set
- Switch exclusive cosmetics
- Support for 4 player online play via Switch Online
Our Take
It’s hard to believe that Diablo 3 was released over 6 years ago, but in that time it has become one of the greatest ARPGs ever developed. It should also be a great fit for the Switch given the mechanics and provide near endlessly replayability on the go. We’re excited!
