The Game Awards gave us many new trailers last night including a new trailer for Sea of Thieves that included the release date! The title officially arrives on March 20th and if you pre-order from the Microsoft Store, you get some bonus items as well.
Additionally, Microsoft debuted a new special edition Sea of Thieves controller which looks beautiful.
Our Take
Sea of Thieves is one of the 2018 titles we are already really excited about. The technical test has been a blast and it’s just one of those games you need to play with a group to understand. It’s great that we finally have a date and we hope you give it a try when the open test for Insiders starts soon!
