It’s Mega Man’s 30th Anniversary and a special live stream was held today to celebrate. Among the celebration was a host of news that should truly excite Mega Man fans.
First, all 8 Mega Man X games will be arriving on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch in 2018.
Next, the Mega Man Legacy Collections (1 and 2) will arrive on the Switch next year as well.
Finally, the big announcement, Mega Man 11 is in development for a late 2018 release. You can see the announcement trailer below!
Our Take
It’s been a great day for Mega Man fans. It’s great to see a lot of Switch support as the Mega Mans should be a great fit for the console. Meanwhile, Mega Man 11 has a style we love and looks primed to be the game Mighty Number 9 wanted to be. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more!
