Beyond the season pass, Shadow of War is receiving a number of free content updates from Monolith.
- Tuesday, November 21st brings three updates:
- Endless Siege, which will have you “Defend your fortresses against Sauron’s forces as the Dark Lord tries to reclaim Mordor in the Endless Siege.”
- Rebellion promises the opportunity to “Crush the rebel Orcs and Uruks in your forces as they seek to undermine the Bright Lord.”
- An enhanced photo mode will allow you to apply new filters, frames, and textures to the photographs you take.
- Tuesday, December 5th brings Online Fight Pits which will allow you to “Challenge another player’s Orc follower, Overlord vs. Overlord, to a fight to the death in the arena to earn powerful rewards and upgrades.”
- Tuesday, December 12th brings a new “Brutal” difficulty level.
Our Take
We’re happy to see new content additions to Shadow of War beyond the season pass offerings. WB Games also said that more free content will be added in the future so we’ll keep you up to date as we learn more.
