LA Noire Arrives on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch, and HTC Vive this November

Rockstar came out with a huge announcement this morning in that L.A. Noire is finally making the jump to the current generation of consoles. But that’s not all, a Switch version and VR version for the HTC Vive are also on the way.  The details:

  • For the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the title will include the original game, all additional DLC, and run in native 1080p for both consoles. Additionally, the game will be upgraded for the Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro.
  • For the Nintendo Switch, the title will include the original game, all additional DLC, and Switch specific functionality like Joy-Con gesture based controls, HD rumble, new camera angles, and touch screen support.
  • For the HTC Vive, “L.A. Noire : The VR Case Files” delivers seven of the original cases from the title rebuilt specifically for VR.

The titles will all release on November 14th though no pricing details have been provided as of yet.  We will keep you posted as we learn more!

Our Take

L.A. Noire is a forgotten gem of last generation and we’re really excited to see it finally become available on the current generation of consoles. The Switch and VR versions are a great surprise as well and we’re really curious to see how the VR version performs. We’ll have more on L.A. Noire in November!
