Studio Wildcard has announced an official launch date of August 29th for Ark Survival Evolved. Pre-orders are now being accepted and Wildcard is also offering a choice of physical copies for fans.
- For $59.99, the standard edition includes all free content released up until this point.
- For $99.99, the Explorer’s Edition includes the season pass that adds the Scorched Earth expansion and future expansions into 2018.
- For $159.99, the Limited Collector’s edition includes a collectible faux-wooden chest box that contains the ARK Explorer’s Edition along with:
- A handcrafted leather-bound Explorer’s Notebook, featuring the Dossiers of every in-game creature
- An official ARK necklace
- A cloth map of the ARK island
- A poster of the Studio Wildcard development team
- The official ARK: Survival Evolved soundtrack, recorded live by the Philharmonic Orchestra
Our Take
Ark has been in the wild for over 2 years now and in that time, has grown a dedicated playerbase while also facing its fair share of challenges. It’s nice to see it reaching physical release and we look forward to seeing how the game evolves from here especially on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
