It seems like it’s been forever since Fortnite was debuted (and it was), but today we learned the game would be releasing in Early Access form on July 25th. We also received a new look at it via a gameplay trailer which you can find below!
Our Take
It’s obvious that Epic and People Can Fly have been working on this title quietly for some time as the gameplay trailer surprised us. Given the love of co-op, tower defense style games, we can see this being a big hit. The ability to build your fort from scratch is an excellent feature and the depth behind character leveling and item usage could result in some true longevity.
