Ubisoft has pulled the cover off of Far Cry 5 with a load of new info and videos today. We now know the game will launch on February 27th, 2018 and you will be combating a cult-like religious group. The story trailer is below:

Our Take
Well, we now know for certain that Ubisoft isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to controversy. If the forum and message board comments on Far Cry 5 are any indication, there will be a lot of future discussion on the title. Here at SG, we’re quite excited for it and as noted the other day, it will be interesting to see if they actually produce any reality-based political commentary within the game.
