Well looks like the rumors were true. Sledgehammer’s Call of Duty this year will take the series back to its roots a la World War 2. Activision confirmed the rumor today and announced that a full reveal trailer would come next week on the 26th at 10am PST / 1pm EST.
Our Take
While we greatly enjoyed Infinite Warfare and felt it received unnecessary hate at times, a return to World War 2 and true “boots on the ground” Call of Duty is welcome indeed. Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available!
