Titled “3C3C1D119440927,” (yes really), new content is on the way for Platinum’s Nier Automata. Three new outfits can be unlocked by completing various challenges in the form of coliseum battles. In addition to the new outfits, there are other rewards as well including:
- New equipment and cosmetic accessories such as hairspray that allows you to change the color of 2B and A2’s hair.
- Masks with unique “on equip” effects.
- Records that add special music tracks to the players’ jukebox.
- Special bullets that change the appearance of enemy bullets.

Our Take
Nier Automata has been one of the pleasant surprises in early 2017. Despite being a more niche title and releasing in one of the greatest quarters for games ever, it has been received well both commercially and critically. It’s nice to see Platinum and Square Enix embracing the “weirdness” of the game with further DLC in the same vein.
