Well the wraps are now officially off. Via their official Destiny Twitter account earlier today, Bungie simply posted the above image thus confirming Destiny 2. No date or other information has been provided yet but we will be sure to update you when it has.

Our Take
As we covered last week, the wraps were already off of Destiny 2 but it’s nice to see Bungie officially confirming it. There’s no telling whether or not they expected to announce so soon, but that’s the state of the industry today it seems. What’s more interesting in the picture above, is the city or world that is on fire at the bottom. What this is alluding to we’re not sure, but given the focus it’s given in the picture, we are sure it relates to the core of the story.
