As part of their new “Insiders” program, Rare announced they will be launching the first public access to Sea of Thieves in the form of a technical alpha. Before you get too excited, they have said that only 1,000 players will be sent invites as they are looking for focused feedback solely, and players will be held to the NDA standards they agreed to upon signing up for the insider program.

Sea of Thieves is one of our most anticipated games of 2017 and we can’t wait to get some playtime with it. SG and its contributors are hoping to be involved in the Alpha and good luck to anyone else hoping to get in as well!
